The establishment of Human Identification/DNA (HID/DNA) unit at School of Health Sciences in 2008 marked an important milestone for the advancement of research and teaching activities related to DNA profiling in School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, Health Campus, Kubang Kerian, Kelantan. 

We are an accredited laboratory under MS ISO/IEC 17025 (Department of Standards Malaysia) which comply with the requirements of international ISO quality requirements. All tests are carried out by competent and experienced expertise. We also participate in a quality assurance programs every year to ensure the correct, accurate and quality test results.

We have received positive feedback from the public, hospitals, private sector and government agencies including cases referred by the National Registration Department towards the quality of services we have provided.
