DIAMOND ODYSSEY 2025/2026 (CONSTELLATIONS OF EXCELLENCE) - DEAN’S LIST AWARD

PPSK Celebrates Student Excellence at the Diamond Odyssey 2025/2026 Ceremony

KOTA BHARU, KELANTAN, 6 June 2026 – The School of Health Sciences (PPSK), Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), successfully organized the Diamond Odyssey 2025/2026 ceremony to appreciate and celebrate the academic achievements of students who made it to the Dean’s List for Semester 1 of the 2025/2026 academic session. The event, themed ‘Constellation of Excellence’, was held with grandeur at Dewan Utama, USM Health Campus, and was graced by the presence of 339 students.

This annual programme, organized by the Academic and Intellectual EXCO of the Health Sciences Association (PSK), was officiated by the Deputy Dean, Professor Dr. Hamid Jan Bin Jan Mohamed. His presence to present the certificates of appreciation to the selected students was a key factor in the ceremony's success. The event was further enlivened by musical performances from the students and a photography session with lecturers, reflecting a harmonious synergy between the academic staff and the student body at PPSK.

The primary objectives of this programme were to celebrate the contributions and diligent efforts of students in their academic pursuits, while also inspiring other students to strive for excellence in the upcoming semesters. The organizers hope that this ceremony will strengthen the ties of friendship among students from various courses at PPSK, thereby fostering a culture of healthy competition that contributes to institutional excellence.

Overall, the Diamond Odyssey 2025/2026 ceremony received an overwhelming response and successfully met its objectives.
