The 14th International Sports Science Conference (ISSC) 2026, held on 29–30 April 2026 at Renai Hotel, Kota Bharu, Kelantan, successfully convened academics, practitioners, and industry experts under the theme “Sports Science for a Sustainable Future: Transforming Performance and Health Worldwide.” The conference was organized by the Exercise and Sports Science Programme and officiated by Profesor Dato’ Dr. Shaiful Bahari Ismail.

The event featured distinguished keynote addresses by Dr. Yeo Wee Kian (Institut Sukan Negara, ISN) and Associate Professor Dr. Teo Wei Peng (Nanyang Technological University, NTU), alongside invited speakers Dr. Muflih Wahid Hamid (Universitas Negeri Makassar, Indonesia) and Dr. Muhammad Zuhaili Suhaimi (Universiti Malaysia Terengganu, UMT).

In addition, symposium sessions were enriched by contributions from representatives of TAR UMT and SEGi University, Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM), Institut Sukan Negara (ISN), and Institut Pendidikan Guru (IPG).

The conference attracted participants from across Malaysia and internationally, providing a dynamic platform for knowledge exchange, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the advancement of sustainable practices in sports science, performance, and health.
