Dr. Mujahid Bakar, together with Dr. Rohani Ismail, Dr. Nurhidanatasha Abu Bakar, and Dr. Shuhaila Mat Sharani, from the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), were invited to attend Sanjungan Karya Penerbit USM 2025. The event was held on Friday, 31 October 2025, at Dewan Bankuet, Canselori II, USM, Pulau Pinang.

The ceremony was officiated by the Vice-Chancellor of USM, Professor Dato’ Seri Ir. Dr. Abdul Rahman Mohamed, with the presence of the Director of Penerbit USM, Professor Dr. Goh Sang Seong, who delivered an inspiring address to ignite renewed passion among the community to continue advancing the dissemination of knowledge.

This meaningful occasion was not merely a book launch but also a celebration of the dedication, perseverance, and high aspirations of Penerbit USM and all authors to strengthen the world of knowledge and intellectual discourse. It is also an honour to share that the book titled “Panduan Penulisan Akademik” was recognized for its outstanding performance, ranking second in best-selling academic titles for the year 2024, after achieving first place in 2021 and 2022. This success reflects the collective effort and support of all contributing authors and the continuous encouragement from the School of Health Sciences.
