PERSATUAN KAKITANGAN SAINS KESIHATAN, USM KUBANG KERIAN, KELANTAN (PKSK)

PKSK is the registered staff club that coordinates activities among staff of the School of Health Sciences, USM. 

Specific Objectives

  1. Organize welfare and social activities among PPSK staff. 
  2. Organize/Co-organize conferences/seminars/workshops related to health. 
  3. Conduct continuous learning courses for staff. 
  4. Conduct activities that can generate income for the association. 
  5. Organize community service programs related to health sciences. 

MEMBERSHIP

Registration Fee: RM20 (for new members)

A. Ordinary Membership (Annual Fee: RM30-Non-academic Staff and RM60-Academic Staff)

  • Open to all academic and non-academic staff of the School of Health Sciences. 
  • Applications must be submitted using the PKSK form and sent to the Secretary, who will forward it to the Committee for approval.
  • The Committee reserves the right to reject any application without providing reasons.
  • Once approved and registration and annual fee is paid, the applicant becomes a member with full rights.
  • Ordinary members have the right to vote and hold positions if selected in the Annual General Meeting (AGM).

B. Lifetime Membership

  • Fee: RM500 (one-time payment). 
  • Same eligibility and rights as Ordinary Members. 
  • No annual fee required. 

C. Associate Membership 

  • Fee: RM60 
  • Open to individuals who do not meet the criteria for Ordinary Membership 
  • No voting rights and cannot hold any position in PKSK 

D. Honorary Membership 

  • No fee required. 
  • Awarded to individuals who have contributed significantly to society and supported the success of PKSK.
