Programme Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of the programme, graduates should be able to:

PLO1:  Assess advanced knowledge within the field of forensic science in global contexts based on sound forensic principles and current best practices.
PLO2: Evaluate relevant theories, concepts, principles and models to provide innovative solutions and optimal decisions in forensic science related problems.
PLO3: Manage advanced practical-related work skills competently and consistently using AI assisted tools, advanced analytical techniques, instrumentation and database while complying with the forensic science codes of practice in complex professional activities.
PLO4: Incorporate interdisciplinary collaborative teamwork sensitively and responsibly with diverse stakeholders in various social and global situations.
PLO5: Revise ideas effectively through advanced verbal, non-verbal, written and visual communication to diverse audiences professionally in the court of law and to other stakeholders.
PLO6: Use advanced applications of digital technologies including AI predictive tools in forensic investigative contexts for the enhancement of forensic science.
PLO7: Review the relevant quantitative information for correct data interpretation for strategic solutions and accurate decisions within the field of forensic science.
PLO8: Advocate advanced leadership qualities and autonomy in diverse and multidisciplinary groups within the field of forensic science.
PLO9: Manage lifelong learning with flexibility, professional adaptability and perseverance for continuous and personal development within the field of forensic science.
PLO10: Maintain entrepreneurial ventures to promote lean forensic workflows and sustainable growth within the field of forensic science.
PLO11: Adapt ethical, social, cultural and forensic codes of practice, legal, regulatory and quality assurance requirements as well as sustainable development practices into strategic decision-making within the field of forensic science.
