PPSK OSH Committee Roles
PPSK OSH COMMITTEE has the following roles;
- Conduct OSH audits/inspections and monitoring in the workplace.
- Receive, examine and investigate OSH complaints made by PPSK staff/students
- Carry out investigations on every accident, near miss, poisoning/occupational disease, dangerous incident, fire and the like that occur in PPSK
- Manage safety and operate the list of registers and SDS of chemicals in PPSK
- Ensure requirements and compliance in terms of biosafety and biosecurity are met
- Ensure work related to radiation safety in accordance with SOP from UKKP only
- Conduct fire drill and update SOPs and emergency route plans in the event of a fire
- Plan and coordinate OSH training programs for relevant staff and students
- Ensure that the certificate of eligibility is always valid for the use of elevators, autoclaves, compressors and gas (LPG) at PPSK
- Manage risk assessment matters and fume hood maintenance on a regular basis
- Carry out safety monitoring work and damage to the surrounding area, buildings, parking, furniture, electricity etc. in addition to beautifying the PPSK for the comfort and happiness of staff and students.
- Monitor mosquito breeding grounds
- Provide information, guidance and reference that related to OSH for staff/students/visitors of PPSK.
