GAMBARAN KESELURUHAN
Sarjana Sains Bioperubatan ialah satu program mod campuran yang menyokong aspirasi Malaysia untuk melahirkan lebih ramai ahli sains bioperubatan yang segar dengan pengetahuan lanjutan, kepintaran penyelidikan dan keupayaan inovatif untuk memenuhi permintaan industri kesihatan. Program ini juga menawarkan peluang kepada ahli sains untuk secara sinergi meningkatkan kelayakan akademik, kemahiran dan tahap kecekapan mereka dalam bioperubatan. Pada asasnya, program ini berfungsi sebagai platform untuk calon melanjutkan pengajian PhD dalam bioperubatan.
Berdasarkan bidang kepakaran dan input kami daripada pihak berkepentingan utama, program ini direka untuk menawarkan kursus lanjutan dalam biologi sel, farmakotoksikologi dan penyakit jangkitan. Di samping itu, calon akan dibimbing untuk memperoleh kemahiran berfikir kritis, amalan etika yang baik dan profesionalisme tinggi dalam penyelidikan bioperubatan.
Struktur Kurikulum:
Kursus diajar - 20 unit
Projek Penyelidikan - 20 unit

- Teknik-Teknik Makmal Bioperubatan
- Biologi Sel dan Genetik
- Biokimia
- Farmakologi Dan Toksikologi

Syarat Kemasukan
| i. | Bachelor of Science (Biomedicine, Applied Science, Health Science, Medicine or other related and recognised degrees) with CGPA ≥ 2.75; OR |
| ii. | Bachelor degree as in section (i) with CGPA 2.50-2.74 AND research experience OR working experience in related field for at least one (1) year OR one (1) academic publication in the field applied for OR obtained at least a B in major courses OR at least B+ in final year research project; OR |
| iii. | Bachelor degree as in section (i) with CGPA 2.49-2.00 AND research experience OR working experience in related field for at least five (5) years AND one (1) academic publication in the field applied for OR obtained at least a B in major courses OR at least B+ in final year research project. |
LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
(Applicable for International Applicants Only)
- A minimum score of 35 in Internet-based TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language); OR
- A minimum score of 5.0 in IELTS (International English Language Testing System); OR
- A minimum score of 154 in Cambridge English Advance (CAE); OR
- A minimum score of 154 in Cambridge Proficiency Advance (CPE); OR
- A minimum score of 36 in Pearson Test of English (PTE); OR
English is the candidate's mother tongue or National Language; OR - The candidate graduated from an Institution of Higher Learning in which the medium of instruction at Bachelor and Master level is English; OR
- English courses offered by British Council (The level of qualification and the relevant courses are to be identified by the University Postgraduate Studies Council ); OR
- English courses from selected Malaysian public/private University or institution (The level of qualification and the relevant courses are to be identified by the University Postgraduate Studies Council)
