The School of Health Sciences (PPSK) has organized Academic Writing Workshop 2022 for undergraduate students which was held online on December 17, 2022. The workshop was officiated by Associate Professor Dr. Ahmad Fahmi Lim Abdullah, the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs) of PPSK. The goal of this workshop was to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to produce high-quality reports and assignments.

The fundamentals of academic writing, including how to produce an essay and a good laboratory report, were introduced to the first year PPSK students. They also learned what constitutes plagiarism and how to properly cite information source. This workshop was led by Dr. Maryam Azlan as the director and the head editor of ‘Panduan Penulisan Akademik’ book.

The workshop had seven presenters who spoke on seven topics from the latest version of "Panduan Penulisan Akademik: Edisi Baharu” book. Other presenters include Dr. Rohani Ismail, Dr Nurhidanatasha Abu Bakar, Dr. Shuhaila Mat Sharani, Dr. Nur Waliyuddin Hanis Bin Zainal Abidin, En. Mohd Fakrulnizam Md. Sahak and En. Kamarul Zaman Ibrahim.
