Biomed@School Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Melor

On September 7, 2023, a group of lecturers from the Biomedicine Programme at the University of Science Malaysia (USM), led by Associate Professor Dr. Hasmah Abdullah, visited Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Agama (SMKA) Melor.

The primary objective of this initiative was to promote the Biomedicine Program and inspire students to pursue careers in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields. The event featured presentations delivered by key figures in the program, including Associate Professor Dr. Nurul Asma Abdullah (Chairperson of the program), Associate Professor Dr. Hermizi Hapidin (lecturer), and Dr. Maryam Azlan (lecturer).

In addition to the lectures, former SMKA Melor students who are now pursuing their Biomedicine degrees at the university also participated, sharing their personal experiences and insights.

The Biomedicine team was warmly received by the school's management team, and they extend their gratitude to everyone involved for contributing to the success of this program.
