The inaugural activity held at Madrasah Ahmadiah Islamiah focused on cultural exchange among participants, particularly postgraduate students representing different countries such as Indonesia, Somalia, and Iraq. This session included engaging discussions and a pop quiz, with small gifts awarded to participants who actively participated. Subsequently, the participants were split into two groups to visit the Department of Biomedicine and the Department of Sciences at the University Prince of Songkhla (PSU) simultaneously. We were warmly welcomed by representatives from PSU at both departments, where fruitful exchanges regarding curricular matters took place, facilitated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nurul Asma Abdullah and Prof. Hamid Jan. The visit successfully opened the networking when PSU sent the invitation to give a seminar at PSU with more potential collaborations in the future.

Lastly, as part of our charitable endeavours, we visited a local madrasah to contribute by painting their fence, intending to foster a positive image of USM and the School of Health Sciences as compassionate helpers in the community.
