THE INTERVIEW SUCCESS WORKSHOP

On June 29, 2024, the Biomedical Club under the School of Health Sciences (PPSK), Health Campus, USM successfully organized the Interview Success Workshop, with 52 students from various programs participating. The workshop was conducted by Dr. Jamilah Shaari, a Linguistics lecturer in the Speech Pathology Program at PPSK and President of the USM Health Campus Bilingual Toastmasters Club. Dr. Jamilah has over 15 years of experience teaching Linguistics, English, and public speaking.

The workshop aimed to help students enhance their communication skills and formulate effective responses for interviews. It covered various aspects such as leadership in interview situations, proper etiquette, and self-presentation skills. Additionally, students had the chance to apply what they learned in a mock interview session, receiving immediate feedback on their interview appearance and specific approaches needing attention based on their performance.
