On November 25, 2023, Bengkel Penulisan Akademik Pra-Siswazah 2023 was effectively conducted online via the Webex platform under the guidance of Dr. Nurhidanatasha Abu Bakar. The workshop was organized by the School of Health Sciences, Universiti Sains Malaysia, and received its official inauguration from Associate Professor Dr. Rapeah Suppian, the Deputy Dean of Postgraduate, Career, and International Affairs at the School of Health Sciences.

 The program featured enlightening speeches delivered by lecturers who are also the authors of the latest edition of the book "Panduan Penulisan Akademik," published by Penerbit USM in 2022. The half-day workshop aimed to enlighten students on plagiarism, proper referencing, academic writing styles, and the art of sentence restructuring.

In line with USM's vision and goals, the workshop has consistently contributed to producing graduates and skilled professionals with soft skills, particularly in academic writing, thereby enhancing their marketability. Moreover, an interactive quiz was conducted to assess the students' knowledge, with the top five winners receiving mystery prizes.
